Current Chairman of AFL South Africa, Peter Fonseca, is an experienced international manager with substantial value-adding capabilities in Corporate Strategy & Marketing.

Peter studied in Victoria, Australia achieving a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Deakin University (Major in Marketing Management & Legal Studies).

He began his involvement as a Director with AFL South Africa in 2004 and has presided as Chairman since 2007, overseeing the development, promotion and participation growth of Aussie Rules in SA, during his tenure.
